Back in 440ad Pope Celestine sent the Bishop back to Ireland to convert the Irish to Christianity. He was Shipwrecked on the "Middle Mouse Rock" when he finally got to shore he erected the Church as thanks to God. The Church used to own the Cottage hence the name "St Patrick's Cottage". |
